Tailgate is built so one business can never see another's records, and each person sees only what their role allows.
Walled off by the database
Each business’s records are kept apart by the database itself, not just hidden by the screens. Customers in the portal reach only their own records the same way.
Two-step sign-in
Codes from an authenticator app, by text, or by email. Passkeys, email links, and Google sign-in too. Accounts are by invitation only.
A record of every change
An audit log shows who changed what and when, from roles and invitations to timesheet corrections and their reasons.
Roles that mean something
Admin, Manager, Read-only, and Team member. Team members see only their own time and records, enforced by the database as well as the app.
Messages stay private
What people write stays in Tailgate. It is never copied into emails or notifications, and Symphony support can’t read it.
Support you can see
If Symphony staff need to look at your business to help, they open a support session with a reason and a time limit, and your admins are emailed straight away.
Private file storage
Files are stored privately and handed out only after Tailgate checks who is asking, with links that expire.
