Privacy Policy
Last updated October 28, 2026
This policy explains how Symphony Learning LLC (“we”) handles information in Tailgate, the software we provide to small businesses (“customers”) and the people who use it.
Information we collect
- Account information: name, email address, sign-in credentials (passwords are stored only as one-way hashes), two-step verification settings, and passkeys.
- Mobile number: if you choose text-message codes for two-step verification, or turn on texts about new messages.
- Business information: what customers and their teams enter into Tailgate. We process it on our customers' behalf.
- Demo requests: the name, email address, phone number, city, state, and type of business you give us when you ask for a demo. We keep them in our own sales records, which we run on Tailgate.
- Security and usage records: sign-in events, IP addresses, browser type, and an audit log of account and business changes, used to keep accounts secure.
How we use it
- To provide, secure, and support Tailgate.
- To verify sign-ins, including sending one-time security codes by email or text message.
- To tell you about new messages, by email or, if you turn them on, by text message.
- To follow up on demo requests, and to look after our customers' accounts.
- To send service and security notices (for example, invitations and security alerts).
- To meet legal obligations.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use customers' business information for advertising.
Text messages and mobile numbers
We use your mobile number only to send the security codes and message alerts you asked for (see our SMS Terms). No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties. Your number is shared only with our messaging provider, solely to deliver these messages.
Service providers
We use trusted providers to run Tailgate. They process information only on our instructions: Supabase (database and file storage), Render and Vercel (hosting), Resend (email), Twilio (text messages), Google (if you choose Google sign-in), and Stripe (billing).
Security
Information is encrypted in transit and at rest. Each business's data is kept separate by the database itself. Access by our staff is limited, time-boxed, and recorded in the business's audit log.
Retention
We keep account and business information while the account is active, and delete it after an account is closed according to our retention schedule, unless the law requires longer. Security records are kept for a limited period.
Your choices
- Update your name, password, and security settings in your account.
- Stop text messages at any time by replying STOP, by turning off texts about new messages in your account, or by switching to an authenticator app.
- Ask for a copy, correction, or deletion of your information by emailing support@symphonybiz.ai. If your information is part of a business's account, we may refer your request to that business.
Children
Tailgate is for businesses and is not directed to children under 16.
Changes
We'll post changes here and update the date above. Significant changes will be communicated in the app or by email.
