Program
Symphony SBS security codes is operated by Symphony Learning LLC. When you choose text messages for two-step verification in your Symphony SBS account, we text you one-time security codes to confirm your mobile number and to sign in. We never send marketing or promotional messages through this program.
Symphony SBS message alerts is a separate program, also operated by Symphony Learning LLC. When you turn on texts about new messages in your account, and your business allows them, we text you when someone sends you a message in Mail that you haven't read. Each text says who wrote and links to the conversation, never what they wrote. No marketing or promotional messages.
How you opt in
You opt in from Account → Security → Two-step verification → Text message by entering your mobile number, ticking the consent checkbox (it starts unticked), and selecting “Text me a code”. See how opt-in works. For message alerts, open Your account → Texts about new messages, choose your number, tick the consent checkbox (it starts unticked), and confirm.
Message frequency
Security codes: one message each time you confirm your number or sign in with a text code. Frequency depends on how often you sign in; with “Remember this device”, most people receive a few messages a month.
Message alerts: at most one text per conversation until you read it, and no more than 20 a day. Frequency depends on how many messages you receive.
Cost
Message and data rates may apply, according to your mobile plan. We don't charge for these messages.
Opting out
Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. We'll send one confirmation and no further messages. To keep signing in securely, switch to an authenticator app in Account → Security. Reply START to opt back in. You can also turn message alerts off at any time in Your account.

Available on major US and Canadian carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Privacy
